On Sept 3rd-5th, the Weathered Athlete Podcast will be taking the show back on the road to Manchester, TN to participate in A Race for the Ages. Of the 120 participants, there are 108 that are older than me. I look to learn what secrets to staying active as well as learn how they have overcome any storms or weathering over the years.
On March 5-7th, the Weathered Athlete Podcast took the show on the road, as Walt Maxwell (mile #1) and Cory Compton (mile #23) took on the David Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge.
Special Guests: Beth Warren (Mile #11) and Dierdre Wolownick (Mile #13)
These athletes no matter how many storms they have weathered, they continue to make the necessary repairs and keep moving forward. They may have a few cracks in their foundation or a squeeky step and their patina's may continue to fade but they are no less glorious than years prior!! In fact we feel they have more heart, character and resolve as they have weathered! They provide the pathway and set the standard that we should all live by.
Sometimes the hardest part of walking 1 mile is taking the 1st step. I promise you that is much easier with others. So, I encourage you to hop on the Weathered Athlete Bandwagon. You won’t be disappointed. In fact, you may be amazed at the distances you can travel.
Thank You
